10/26/23 – Service Interruption – Jeremy Circle

Due to a repair on Jeremy Circle, water will be temporarily shut-off on Thursday, October 26th, starting at 9:00 a.m. for approximately eight hours. This will affect homes on Jeremy Circle. Our dedciated team will work diligently to complete the necessary repairs as quickly as possible. In case of any unexpected delays, we will keep you informed promptly.

Leak Notifications

Have you set up leak notifications using our smart meter technology? If not, please visit www.eyeonwater.com/signup to set up your account. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email us at summitwater@swdc.us or call 435-649-7324.

SMS Notifications

If you would like to receive text notifications from us, please text SWDC to 67332 from the number on your SWDC account. These notifications allow you to receive information when water will be shut off for emergency repairs and leak alerts. Read more regarding our SMS Notification Program.

2023 Irrigation Schedule

Please visit our conservation page for the irrigation schedule, as well as tips and tricks for conserving water. We request that you follow the posted irrigation schedule as this allows us to manage the water system more efficiently.

06/22/23 – SWDC Office Closure

The SWDC office will be closed on 06/22/23 for an employee team building event. In the case of a water emergency, please call 435-649-7324 and press zero (0) to be connected to our on call employee.

Irrigation Recommendation

As of June 1st, the current irrigation recommendation from the Division of Water Resources for Summit County is ZERO irrigations per week. Waiting to water allows grass roots to grow deeper and build endurance. Wait until temps are in the mid-70s for several consecutive days before turning on your sprinklers. Annual Backflow Testing

Federal and state laws require public water systems to protect their systems from cross connections and backflow. Summit Water Distribution Company's Cross Connection program requires all customers with a backflow device to have an annual inspection/testing of all backflow assemblies on your property. For more information, click here.
